We will ask you to provide us with your personally identifiable information such as your name, address, telephone number, email etc. In order to process your payment we will need some financial information from your credit/debit card.

Detox-in a box will not pass on your personal or credit or debit card details to any third party.

Occasionally we may e-mail you to advise of new products, promotions or important announcements. We will always give you the chance to unsubscribe from our mailing list if you no longer wish to receive our promotional e-mails.

Conditions of Use

You must be eighteen years old to use this site. If you are under eighteen, you may only use the site in conjunction with, and under the supervision of, a parent or guardian. Detox-in a box have the right to refuse at our discretion to supply any goods ordered by you.

Detox-in a box own the Copyright and ownership for all the information about Detox-in a box. As a potential customer you may retrieve and display such information on your computer screen and print out individual pages from the Website for the sole purpose of placing an order for our services. The copying, modifying or transmitting of the material for any other purposes is strictly prohibited.

Detox-in a box reserve the right to make changes to our Terms and Conditions and our Website at any time. Any orders placed after the changes have taken place you the customer will be bound by such changes.


Virus infection

It is the responsibility of the user to check all materials for viruses before downloading them from this site.


Pricing

All goods offered for sale through our web site are priced in UK Pounds Sterling (£)


Typographical Errors

In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders based on the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. In such a case it is our policy to contact you, and allow you to choose whether you wish to continue with the order at the corrected price.

 

Payment Method

You undertake that all details you provide to Detox-in a box for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered. You must provide us with your exact name and address that your credit card issuer has on file for you. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. All goods remain the property of Detox-in a box until paid for in full.

 

Availability of Goods

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We will however contact you if a product you have ordered is out of stock, and if you do not wish to proceed with the order we will arrange for the order to be cancelled.

Detox-in a box endeavour to bring our customers the best value we can. However stock is limited and subject to availability from our suppliers. We update our website as quickly as we can to ensure up to date information for our customers.

 

Ordering Meal Plans

If you have any food allergies or dislikes, these must be voiced during your consultation. This is to avoid you receiving a meal that you do not like or you cannot eat.

If for any reason you decide to stop your detox we will be happy to offer a refund. You will be charged for any food already ordered or prepared plus a £35 administration charge.

Please let us know of any dates you are going away where you do not require food as early as possible. 7 days in advance is fine. We are happy to put your detox on hold whilst you are away and add those days onto the end of your detox if necessary.

If you do go away without letting us know and do not require your meals that have already been prepared, unfortunately you will be charged for these.

If you are on our BH14 Collection plan and you forget to pick up your food it is also your responsibility and you will be charged for those meals if they are not collected. Although we try and contact our clients to prompt them to collect their food we cannot always guarantee this.

 

Delivery of Meal Plans

Detox-in a box will only deliver initially to the cardholders registered address.

If your food is delivered to you locally and you require a delivery early one night or the address that we will deliver to has changed, please inform us as early as possible. Preferably 2 days in advance to enable us to consult the couriers.

If you are on our nationwide delivery scheme you will receive a chilled hamper to the agreed delivery address on the day specified, between 9-5pm.

If you would like the hamper delivered to a different address than the one originally agreed please advise us as soon as possible.

If you will not be in to sign for your hamper, please make an arrangement for a neighbour to receive it. Our carrier can leave goods without a signature, but this should be a last resort.

We advise you to refrigerate or freeze all food as soon as possible and to follow instruction on your menu. All dishes are clearly labelled.

It is not possible to deliver to the Channel Islands or Ireland and some other locations.

If for any reason you wish to stop your meal plan please advise us a minimum of 7 days in advance and we will be happy to hold this for a maximum of 3 months unless a special arrangement has been made with the Managers of Detox-in a box. We ask for a minimum of 7 days notice to restart your plan.

Meal Plans are not transferable.

 

Delivery of all other goods

Detox-in a box will only deliver initially to the cardholders registered address.

We are entitled to make partial deliveries if necessary however we will always contact the customer to advise.

All deliveries will be made as soon as possible after your order has been accepted and in any event within 30 days of the order being placed.


Recycling

We endeavour to recycle as much as possible and would be grateful if you could help us in our efforts and recycle all packaging where appropriate.


Claims for damages or shortages

If there is any visible damage to the delivered goods, it is your responsibility to contact us immediately stating that the goods have not been received in good condition. It is imperative that you do not dispose of any of the packaging, as this will be required to make a claim against the carrier. We will make a claim against the carrier and arrange for the damaged goods to be collected and replacements to be sent to you. In such a case, the goods will only be collected from the original point of delivery.

It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the delivery or carriers consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the delivery notes and it is your responsibility to notify us within 2 days of delivery.


Cancellation of orders and returns

Orders cancelled after dispatch of the goods will be subject to a minimum handling fee of 10% of the invoice price to cover re-stocking and administration costs. Shipping costs will not be refunded for any orders cancelled after dispatch.

We reserve the right to refuse goods returned if they are not in their original condition with the original unopened packaging. All shipping costs for returned items shall be the responsibility of the customer and it is advised that adequate insurance is arranged to cover damage in transit.


Refunds

If for any reason you are issued with a refund it will be issued to the same payment method as on the original order. A refund will usually reach your credit card account within 5 working days, but please allow up to 10 working days for it to be credited.


Liability

The extent of our liability to you shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the goods and we shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

If you have any medical conditions or concerns about your health that may be affected by a change in diet, please consult your GP before starting your detox. Detox-in a box will not accept any liability for any deterioration in any medical condition.

Warranties

Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect your statutory rights as a customer, or exclude or restrict our liability to you for any injury caused through our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Entire Agreement

The above Terms and Conditions cannot be varied except in writing by a director of Detox-in a box. Therefore anything said by any member of staff on behalf of Detox-in a box should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by Detox-in a box. We shall have no liability for any such misrepresentation being untrue or misleading.
